Bunch of kiddies - lol I wouldnt buy a 1TB physical HD what if it burns out Well i am going for 1TB but 2x500GB and I have already got a 200GB and a 160 one DarkStar
Seagate's coming out witha 1TB drive at about the same time, they allready have .75TB drives... it's really of little significance though... I want them to come out with FASTER drives, not bigger ones... I don't need that much space but i like speed.
I do, considdering my 3x 160GB hdds are almost full, including my personal drive. Especially games are getting bigger, lets take Americas Army: A few years ago it was only 700mb to download, which was considderd alot by some people, now, when its patched for like 6 times, its 2.5GB, the install file only.
that'll be enough room for my stuff (got a 500gb and its not enough), and instead of putting stuff that i download on to dvds i'll just put it on my comp.
no, the problem is that flash memory is too expensive and doesn't last long and that battery backed solid-state memory is even more expensive and can loose all its data should the power go out and the battery fails.
