    I wouldnt buy a 1TB physical HD what if it burns out :)

    Well i am going for 1TB but 2x500GB and I have already got a 200GB and a 160 one :D

    Seagate's coming out witha 1TB drive at about the same time, they allready have .75TB drives...

    it's really of little significance though...

    I want them to come out with FASTER drives, not bigger ones...

    I don't need that much space but i like speed.

    I do, considdering my 3x 160GB hdds are almost full, including my personal drive. Especially games are getting bigger, lets take Americas Army: A few years ago it was only 700mb to download, which was considderd alot by some people, now, when its patched for like 6 times, its 2.5GB, the install file only.

    that'll be enough room for my stuff (got a 500gb and its not enough), and instead of putting stuff that i download on to dvds i'll just put it on my comp.

    Problem is that SCSI and similar speed drives are just too expensive to make it worth your while.

    no, the problem is that flash memory is too expensive and doesn't last long and that battery backed solid-state memory is even more expensive and can loose all its data should the power go out and the battery fails.
