i have tribal, but it means something (its japanese, which i consider tribal art when on a tattoo). i am getting a design worked on by a local tattoo artist as I am designing his web page and it trasitions from a traditional tattoo on my back into tribal on my left arm that will go into my pec and around the outside half of my upper arm and flow down my arm and eventually transition into flames on the bottom around my wrist. I am trying to get as many symbolic tribal tattoos involved in it as I can, as its basically gonna be the largest piece of art on my body that is under a single continual flow with colors (the tribal will use colors for areas outside the standard black fill lines). The tattoo overall should cost $2000, he is covering the design and first $500 of it for the website (he and my mom kind of want to date, but at the same time she doesnt... so hes being really nice to me...) It wont start until im 18 and the design is 100% finalized and the tribal down anything lower than my elbow may change as i dont like the idea of a single wrist of blue flames, if i want the flames i get it done on both arms. either way the dragons he is drawing are absolutely orgasmic to me (its a mix between english and japanese dragon design) and there are 2 of them. One is breathing a blue flame and the other a normal red flame that eventually intertwine into one color flame at the end (purplish) signifying a yin/yang kind of thing where there is good (the blue) and bad (the red) in all of us, and we are the outcome of what is put in (the purple).
What bout some sayings? I like tattoos that actually have a meaning more than some random ink. I think these fit into your army profession. I've applied for Parachute Troops and may get one of these aswell. "semper fidelis" ->Faith always "Gott Mit Uns" -> God with Us "eritis sicut deus, scientes bonum et malum" -> You Shall be like gods, knowing good and bad/evil. "mors certa, hora incerta" -> death is certain, the hour/(moment) is incertain. "Homo homini lupus" -> Man is Mankind's wolf. "Nemo nisi mors" -> Nothing but death (shall part us)
quite a lot of tattoos actually have latin inscriptions. lots of holy symbols in general have a lot of latin (such as a truly intricate version of a baphoment, being a satanic circle).
i love latin "amo te" i love you in latin, also i love you in spanish but i didnt know that untill recently
im not fond of any of the "symbols" most people use nowadays... for most people, they go to the shop, pick a symbol(chinese, or something) that looks cool, and get it done. ----ing idiots... one bitch got one done, what did it end up meaning... PIG! Anywho... my next tatty is a kamodo dragon ripping through the skin with its claws (slash marks) and its head poking out with its tongue out Why... Im Indonesian, and the kamodo dragon is commonly found here. It is my favorite "animal"(its actually a reptile)...
here's an idea... get a temporary tatoo from a friend or something in like sharpee see how you like it first. better yet don't waste your money...
he already has tattoos, and i personally love them and have them myself and dont find it to be a waste of money (nor does anyone who has them in the first place). I find tattoos to be self expressive of someting in particular i want to let others know about myself without having to go into huge detail about it.
i find them to be disguting on 80 year old people, people whonare obese, people who gained a lot of muscle, and people who lost a lot fo weight. do you plan to mantain your body at the exact same proportions forever while not aging?
