Tag For A Good Friend Of Mine

Well, i just now picked up this hobby.. but i really want to make a good friend of mine.. a nice sig.. but since im not quite good enough yet.. im not able to do so.. can someone help me? i have a picture of her.. maybe you can hook me up? .. or perhaps walk me threw.. i have a pick of here.. its black / white.. so im thinking of a black /white backround.. heres a pick of here

Well, for starters, you might wanna get a better quality pic.
Then goto the free tutorials section and that will help you out big time.

 

Well, the only problem im having.. is smudging.. and the backround of the sig<Which i have no idea how to do> .. once i get those down.. i can pretty much be on my way..

most tutorials dont share information how to do nice backrounds, they break down the smudging.. but i still have a hard time understanding
