Superstitous?

I believe that "luck" is just a series of convinient or unconvinient happenings that causes something to happen to you. Like for instance, you are going home from work, and right at the door, you are stopped by a co-worker who asks for some help, but just the second you were SUPPOSED to exit the door, a plant/bucket/brick/whatever falls down from the 10th floor. Luck? Convinient happening? Call it what you want, it happened, and "luck" is just a word for it.

 

I believe in that there is "something else" but not in ouija boards etc.

I DONT believe in ghosts

 

i do beleive in ghosts, and every now and then i beleive my thoughts are being broadcast to others, so i stop thinking that thought immediately and swtich my thoughts

 

hm... I'm somewhat superstitous. not so much as to let it rule my life and control everything I do.

and as far as believing in ghosts... I haven't seen one, so I don't believe in them; I haven't seen any scienctic evidence to prove that they're aren't any, so I don't not believe in them. I'm neutral until someone makes me believe one or the other

 

I don't beleive in anything beyond the norm and religion.

I believe in some things, such as 'unnatural' phenonenoms. Dreamcatchers, not so much, Aliens...not really.

 

I don't have any superstitions. they represent our fears and biases. what we don't understand (or don't take the time to understand) we are superstitious about. if we continue to be superstitious, we'll never understand the world around us and will be dominated by our fears. look at galileo. he said the world was round and was persecuted because of superstition. he took the time to understand and changed the way we think forever. also, we make our own luck through effort and persistance. the luckiest people are the ones that try the hardest.

nah seriously though i do beleive in ghosts from experiences when i was little and i was at my aunts house and my nans was haunted 2 :blink: creepy.

when my nan sold her home there a some people that came to veiw it and the kid stopped and said its haunted. the mum replyed to my nan "some houses he wont even walk into because of a evil spirit :blink: but he said my nans ghost was freindly and he lives there now :huh:

 

YES, during my baseball season i reelly don't wash my socks or pants if were on a winning streak. =D

Ghosts aren't something related to superstition, they're more paranormal things

 

there are only a few i believe in.
