Suggestions For A Good Desktop

    k well, i need a new comp and this is my situation... i need suggestions


    Budget:500$

    Minimum:

    1GB RAM

    200 GB Hard Drive

    2 GHz Proccessor


    This is for gaming, so if you think those arn't good for gaming, and its under 500$ please leave a suggestion, i have everything already, like video card, sound card, case, lights, i just need a good stock comp

    You won't be getting a 2.9 Ghz. Closest would probably be a pentium d 805 (i think 2.66 Ghz), that is $110.

    Do you need everything, like keyboard, mouse, etc? (case especially, and power supply.) If so, you are better off buying a factory computer OR better off saving more money OR simply upgrade something on your current computer.

    We/I might be able to work something out on the lines of a socket AM2 Sempron, or such.

    What would oyu be looking to do with this comp?

    It can be done, there was an article in a magazine about building a computer on a 500 dollar budget, Ill post some parts in a minute.

    forget the psu there. just get a case with like 450 watt and decent railings.

    integrated video? dont think so. my build should be a little more sensible for him.

    what is you current gfx card and everything that you say you alrdy have.
