A teaching category? where there's a board that has a thread for each aspect of tags, eg. flow, depth, lighting, etc. and people just suggest and give pointers for that certain aspect. thisll help learning expand nd create new ways of achieving the certain aspects of a 'good tag'
Well...There are tutorials showing the 'basics' of signatures. Plus, the 'Signature' forum is where people go to get 'C&C', and the person criticizing their work will most likely give them hints on how to achieve their view of 'perfection'. Then there's 'Graphic Discussion', where some people tend to ask how to achieve certain factors (such as depth/lighting/flow). And if all that isn't enough, and someone still really doesn't get it, they could always see if anyone is willing to teach them through one-on-one lessons.
I see where you are coming from Alx but I know what Propz is on about. Some things just don't teach things you need to know. We could have a section and people could put a depth tutorial, lighting tutorial etc. +1 to Propz idea.
if you want to make a topic with what you feel covers those then maybe we can sort something out in the 'graphic discussion' and 'tutorials' areas of the forums, and i can get it pinned for you. But a new section is something that i dont really see as a plus, as it can be basically covered in the areas ive mentioned.. like what Alx said people post their tags in the 'signature' forum for comments and crit, and if people dont like it and say what should be done in their opinion then thats the way to go until then. And also mentioned by Alx is the 1 to 1 lessons if anyone wants to do that which you can ask for as long as you stick to the rules provided on here on GR. Also the tutorials are there to help people create a tag with depth etc..but thats pretty much something that you have to work on yourself imo people cant really help you with them as its your idea of the say 'scene', all they can do is help a little but not alot.
