Suggestion For Rep

Too bad... Kazuya and Draven more though...

Removing the reputation system would cause a lot of problems with GR members to fade away, but with that your also going to have the constant fluster of "OH NOES, MY FRIENDS -repPED ME FOR NO REASON AND NOW ITS GONE, WHATEVER SHALL I DO?"

Alot of people on this site get reputation out of favoritism and not contributions to the community, which is how it should be. For the mods to moderate all the new rep being added, they would have to have a new mod installed that made it so that every rep that occured would have to be verified by them before actually appearing by someones name. Have a checklist button to the left, the user name from and to, and the actual message, the message the rep came from, and you can either enable or disable which ones the mods believe should stay or not. This still allows for corruption through members moderators like and dislike, but generally the staff on the site are very fair when it comes to circumstances like this. However, it would be time consuming on all the staff to do this.

Other then that, there is nothing I can think of that would allow moderators to remove invalid rep other then someone posting about it when they see it as they are casually viewing others rep after repping them or something.

Yeah but couldn't the person just make up a reason, for example if someone posted a awesome signature their friend could rep them saying WOW nice Signature! or something...its kind of impossible to stop I think considering everyone doesn't know who's friends with who

read the other posts in this topic mate. There is just no solution and not every dodgy thing that happens at gamerenders can be seen, like in real life.
