[sug] A Bump Button

Like near the "Fast post" like a "Bump" button to bump your thread.

But only every 5-10 minutes to reduce abuse of it.

Why have it? So you don't have to say "BUMP" every 1 minute.

I think this is a very good idea.


What do you think about it?

 

well, it's not that hard to type in 4 letters

They have already impl,emented a system that is against this.


If you havent noticed, when you post 2 in a row during a certain duration of time it merges your posts.

If they had this .. topicsc would never die.

 

There aint to bump button for invision.


But there is a bump selection somewhere in the Moderating options. But thats only for mods. I don't think it would be a good idea, because trust me, everyone is going to bump every 5 minutes to get their thread at top.

read the rules
ii) Bumping - Members are only permitted to bump topics twice in 24 hours, not in the same hour, any failure to comply with this rule will recieve punishment.
so there is no need for a bump button

There is already a bumping system like you were describing in place. If you make 2 posts in succession within 1 hour then your posts are merged and the topic is not bumped.

Anyways, you don't really need it. Just type bump if your topic is on page 2, it's not that hard.
