im seriously about to sell my sansa on ebay and just get a new battary for my ipod instead.. Real player is making me make a account, otherwise it wont let me transfer the songs. I tried the explorer way, but there is no music folder in the sansa itself. And if i make one, everything will get f-ed up. Can any other music player like i tunes do it, without making me create a account? because i have like 200 songs on it already

you cant just transfer the files onto it?

    drag and drop.

also did it come with any software, like my creative muvo had its own software.

does windows media see it as a portable device? cause you may be able to use it if it does.

yes, i tried drag and drop. Doesnt work, have to sign in, and it cost money to create a new account. It needs real player crap to put songs into it. Windows media player is not recognizing it

Try the following Forum for some help and suggestions as what your trying to do should be a straightforward and simple procedure.... Cant understand why your using realplayer either,as WMP along with the drag and drop method is alll you really need to do to get files onto sansa. And I presume we're talking about the sansa e series
