Stupid Msn

Ok my msn messenger just decided to stop working on me...now everytime i log onto the messenger my internet connection gets d/c and i have to reset my internet modem(dsl) aim works good...but everytime i log onto msn this happenes so i havent been able to get on even when i try to log onto msn on trillian i still get d/c can someone please help me

 

MSN Sucks The Best Messengers Are Yahoo! And AOL Instant Messenger....

i use aol instant messenger the most but it seems like everyone on this forum has msn

msn has been pissing about for me as well - not sure how to fix it though :/

 

yeah lately all my messenger ---- hasnt been working

for AIM i get "aim service can not be reached" and when i log onto trillian i get a crash file error pop up and it closes

so ive beeen trapped off from everyone on AIM YAHOO and MSN

 

msn can be a bitch at times.

Check to make sure ur firewall *if u have one* anit blocking it sumthing firewalls hate IMs programs and block them for no reason , Also Check if u have Java Fully install sumtimes Java dissapears for no reason also to check go to http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp it upgrade or it tell uve got the latest .

if they dont work let us know and ill have another think but MSN at times does have a habit going off then coming bk on after restarting or 3hrs or so

 

Yes, you most likely have a firewall blocking your connection through msn. The other day my msn display picture would change at random times, as well as my msn name.

usually its just a firewall thing, just make sure urs isnt blocking it out.

but if it was me id just not not use something my firewall blocks

 

Mines been signing out automaticly as well today....try restarting your pc then if that doesnt help find the msn installation file open it up and it should ask to repair or uninstall msn click repair..thats all i can say right now.

 

MSN > AIM

 

Use MSN messenger (there is 10x much users than other programs)

often its just to re-install.. (also re-download for newest version)
else.. there is some viruses that can destroy it.. also smiley adware can destroy the messenger..

 

MSN > Everything else lol
but ya, maybe its your firewall, or maybe your router..

If i were you i would get some good antivirus and antispyware scanners and let them scan your comp, maybe that helps.

msn is by far the best messenger. windows blows. aim sucks even more. yahoo piece of crap. i have roughly about 200 people on msn. aha
