To all the guys who thought it was funny, it wasn't. How would you like it if i broke your grandad's neck? That would be the same as what these two kids have done.

What has the world come to, beating a 60 year old man for a bloody ipod, it's a damn shame there are people in the world like that. It's not as if he wouldn't have gotten it back at the end of the day, also he shouldn't have had it in school anyway, they are there to learn, not to piss about and listen to music/watch films in class <_<

    Poor guy, i hope he's alright :(

Some kids nowadays need a good whoopin. Like back in the old days, where the parents would do it with the belt, and the principal would give you the strap.

My teachers show movies at my school, does that make me a bad person for watching them? :(

People need to grow up. If your school or teacher says dont bring an iPod then do it. Dont give em a hard time.

i would have let the teacher take my ipod. but now those kids will have to go to prision for 20-50 years in prison just for an ipod. thats just sad.

no that just proves how corrupt kids are now. that comment was so dumb i can't even put it into words.

i blame the media mostly.. what do you watch when you watch rap music videos? you see pointless entertainers like 50 cent (yes, he isnt' a rapper), the game and 50% of other rappers out there saying how they get shot 9 times and that violence is a good thing to sell more cds. people who buy into these things have to see what they're investing their money into. I personally don't like rap music (i listen to hip hop artists like classified, nas, j-5 and others like them), i think it's pointless and juvenille, but if that's the music you like then ok, but think before you buy their cds if that's the kind of society you would like to see as a reality, that means for your family and friends aswell.

of course this isn't the only reason why you see violence like that, highschoolers throwing punches at their teachers over an ipod, but this is a major issue contributing to that kind of behaviour.

Nah. not really, but I don't think music plays that much of a role. Most likely it's them trying to look tough infront of other people.
