The point of Pastafarianism isn't to show that you don't believe in something, it's to demonstrate how obsurd it is to provide special exceptions for those that do believe in a more established religion. Unless the suspended child is a complete jack-off (which is entirely possible), he should be relieved that he's been suspended despite his claim that dressing as a pirate is part of his religious teachings. I hope his school is one of those that teaches intelligent design or this would qualify as pointless acting-out.

I knew it was only a matter of time. I guess he could say its his religion, well they can't really prove him wrong on that point.

Ho ho ho it's a pirate life for me!

That's pretty bad actually, everyone is allowed to believe in what they believe and that school should really think about what they're doing.

Do what you want cause a pirate is free!

This article is awesome, I swear. I say let this kid come dressed as a pirate. He can do what he wants cause a pirate is free. These people can't really take a joke, can they...

Because... Uhh.. He's dressed up as a Pirate. I would be kinda distracted if some dude came into school and attended my classes dressed as a pirate.
