I'd like to see a tut or something from you.. the colouring in your tags are beautiful. great depth too.

Lightsource is way too strong, but the effects are very pleasing to the eyes. ;)
However, I do find that the left side of the tag needs more complexity... Like I'm really loving what's going on around your focal, it's great in fact, but I feel the depth and whatnot kinda got ignored or rushed on the left side.

    Still great though man. ;)
    Really like it.

Yeah, I got lazy with the depth. There was a lot of great detail on that side, but it looked flat when I kept the detail, so I just did a simple two-level depth divided by the sides of the tag.

    Depth > me

    EDIT: Also, for coloring:
100px soft round brush in bright colors set to Color, opacity/fill ~50%
And adjustment layers. Try to use custom gradients for adjustment layers... the only default ones I use are B&W, green&red, and purple&orange.
