Stop...illegal Software

To me pirating music should be llegal, artists can make albums within a year and so on. Its also far elss expensive to make a 13 track album then it is a movie

I'm against pirating of movies though. Why? Because movies can take on average 3-4 years to make, and come with a budget that exceeeds millions of dollars. Theres no point ins tealign from the mvoie industry because if it gets bad enough eventually movies will become low class due to lack of funds.

About software pirating? I could care less really, If adobe doesnt want their program being pirated make it cheaper.

 

I don't see why adobe can't be like STEAM/VALVE.

Every possible CDKey has been used or locked. Theres no way to get any of there games free.

I would rather not disclose my piracy partakings or if I have even piracied anything. I think it is much easier to acquire things through Wal*Mart. There store seems secure... yes? Well, you reach down, grab a box of Half Life 2, then you take it out and pocket it. You walk right out the door while the box, lonely as it is, sits there in the Electronic dep. Either way, piracy may be wrong, but even the artists themselves probably have used LW sometime in their lives. I would also think that some of you are not too smart saying "Oh, yeah! I download ---- all the time." If someone, not saying this is likely to happen, just popped on GR and decided to write down these things and the IP as with the names, you have your confessions right there.

 

Artists and stuff are fine. Sure 50% of people with their music download it. But they also make money off of clothing lines, perfume, cologne etc. They do concerts, endoresements.

They are fine.

If they want people to buy photoshop they shouldn't make it $700.

Im not willing to save for 2 months or so to buy something that i just do when im bored

Stopping piracy is like trying to have World Peace. There's always someone ready to screw it all up.

 

At most places here they have it locked up in a container with locks on it. If i were robbing a store, the last thing I would do would be to get photoshop >.>.

 

I shall start feeling guilty now.... Over 300+ cds that were burnt, over 20 gbs of music downlaoded illegaly.... TV decoder with over 700+ channels (Including pay-per-view channels, porn channels (xD LMAO))... Uhm, pretty much everything that includes software in my house = illegal.. Anyhow, if you think about it, without piracy, many things wouldn't even exist *Windows Firewall -> LOL*... Anyhow, I like piracy, if the companies are too dumb to make a programt hat can get cracked in a half-minute, it's their problem.

that was so hipocritical... lol ok dude albums cost alot of money also, they have to pay the studio, hire people to do stuff, then they need stores to buy the albums off them. Years means nothing.

No one is going to pay $15 for a cd in which they only want to acquire ONE song from it.

 

yes valve and steam do a good job but you can still get past it i have done it myself. there are ways but it is very hard.
