    What a wonderful comment indeed.

1 sentence isn't really much you know....Maybe you should write an essay and then come back to tell us more, 'cus my grandma could make a better discussion topic.

My comments? Well, I respect your opinion, but I am afraid to say that internet pirarcy, whether softwares or movies/music, is a fad thats going to stay for a long time. According to several statistics, the average nation, whether as wealthy as the United States or poor as Zimbabwe, would carry a software piracy rater of 57.8%. Yep, more than half of their software is pirated. As much as its illegal, its the governments choice whether to turn a blind eye or not.

As you said it's wrong, but as White_Tiger and Shift_Six mentioned, there is no way that piracy will die.

Illegal downloading is a PART of business now-a-days...i'm sure companys factor in the amount of money they will lose to illegal downloading and raise thier prices accordingly

    i however love piracy

I download music, games, etc... and my friend burns DVDs ..so i'm kinda like a piracy whore

people get illegal software because software like photoshop is expensive [700$+] and that it is easy to get.

another thing to say about this is that programs like limewire or torrents are legal but sending stuff back and forth isnt legal. so is the government really trying to stop p2p programs? no there not. blocking or removing the source [p2p programs] will stop piracy.

Well for example this forum, tens of thousands of graphics artists many of which use photoshop probably around 95%. That program costs $600, think logically would you pay 100's of $ when there's an alternative. I suppose some people have paid the fair fee but it's overweighed by those who haven't.

In case you wanted to know i have a legal photoshop.
I don't think i have anything illegal on it at the moment, used to.
