same ---- u moron. ok u dont listen to emo ----? ok fine, what do u listen to? heavy metal. ok KILL KILL KILL. look im rocker! lets all become gothic, peirce our penises, and die by drugging ourselves. rock is the most talentless bull---- I have ever heard. all u can do while listening to rock is ----en jump up and down like a smurf on crack. u can actually dance to rap/hip-hip since its not just some noisy ---- anyone can do with a barrel of drums and a ----ed up voice and mind. [/b][/quote] LMAO! No, I don't listen to alot of metal, I listen to mainly older rock, not neccessarily classic, but older than most of the people here. You just stereotyped too(I do it all the time, I know, I don't care), so your post is now invalid. @GNU: I stand corrected, my post should have read "most rappers are talentless know-nothing nitwits". Most people that listen to rock, in my opinion, don't do it to dance, obviously. They listen to it because they like it. I listen to it because I like it and have nothing to do, so I listen and learn the songs on my guitar ^The above goes to the guy I quoted, I just thought of it AFTER I addressed GNU. @GNU again: Unfortunately you're right, most of the underground rock around here sucks too. There's like 3 bands around here that I'll actually stop by and listen to when they're around and not in a bar(so I can actually go in!).
Im not saying this stereotypicaly because I know this is true: A lot of crime caused in the UK by younger people is the people who like rap, when I go out, who do I see hanging around on street corners shouting loud and causing trouble? It isnt the goths, emo kids, reggae lovers whatever lol, it's the people who like rap. Thats not just personal opinion but it's true, in my eyes anyway.
Most people that listens to hip hop, in my opinion, don't do it to dance, obviously. They listen yo it because they like it. You can listen to what ever you like. You dont gotta dance to it. Just listen to the good ----. trippin
underground anything is great... i know loads of underground metal i like the lyrics in them, the sound is good too, underground rap/hip hop is great too, there is some truly amazing stuff that nobody knows about...
you can pretty much apply the bell curve to anything even underground music....a small percentage is absolutly terrible...most are average....a incredibly small percent is incredibly amazing...agree or disagree
Just uploaded the Point Of No return to my radio blog http://www.resources.vanquish-hosting.com/radio.blog/
Yeah, I know, but he was saying something about not being able to dance to rock, so I was simply explaining it
I'll Say this Again.. Donot! I Repeat DONOT! Judge A Genre Of Music because you saw it on T.V. If You don't have something good to say.. don't say anything.. leave it at that..
Read the whole thread There are a number of posts that wouldn't be considered debating. Anyways, stereotyping is something that some people can't help doing, me for example. When there are a number of people that represent something and they do something they shouldn't do etc, it pretty much ruins alot of people's opinions about that certain thing, in my opinion.

if this is about opinions... well, its going nowhere... everyone has their own opinion, whether its about stereotypes or anything else in the world, or the world itself.. my whole point is, we all have our own view, os their is no truth, so there is no stereotyping anything. cuz yours will differ from mine.. in the end, it doesnt matter either way..
