That is the dumbest thing ever said.
Kanye west went to college but he dropped out to pursue his production career. The Game could have had 6 full schoolarships for basketball but he decided to pursue his rap career.
Most of the rappers start rapping at a young age so they drop out to pursue their careers. You go to high school and college to start a career in something they just found it already.

Also a load of rock musicians are crack, heroin, etc addicts and either end up killing themsels or die on a over dose.
I don't know one rapper that has yet to do that.
I'd rather be killed by someone than kill myself out of stupidity

Please don't say dumb and ignorant comments without having proof that backs it up.
Look at ozzy osborn the guy is a freaking retard right now.
    Most rappers just smoke weed.
Yeah over time it will get to you and you will have some problems with remembering things but by that time they will be old and their careers will be over.
I remember a guy back in the 80' or 70' that had heroin in his head band and inbetween songs he would inhale it.

Edit: Also what you make in a year he makes in one show.
If you are making millions you have to be succesful and be smart.
They all have either their own clothing brands (sean john, rocawear, applebottoms, etc) they have their own energy drinks (crunk, etc) their own shoes )sean carters, funk master flex' lugz, g-units, etc) [/b][/quote]
Ahh...Ozzy Osbourne isn't a "freaking retard". He was on a medication that made him the way he was. Now, he is off of that medication. I was at Ozzfest last Saturday, and Ozzy looked better than he has in years.

And, yes there are many rockers that have died of drug overdoses, more than rappers. But, thats because rock has been around for so many more years then rap, and that is the lifestyle of rockers. Rather than rappers, who rap about lifestyles almost anyone would find offensive. Like, rape, DRUGS, murder. Yes, there are rock songs like that...but not as many as rap songs.

Do you even read the filth you type? How can you say AC/DC is garbage? You may not like them, fine, but they're certainly not garbage. They are a group of wonderfully talented artists who have given everybody the chance to say, "---- you" to conformity. If you actually listened to any other song besides their hits, maybe you'd think differently about them.

Also, do you even know WHY people like me choose classic rock over newer rock? Of course, not, or else you wouldn't be shooting off at the mouth (well, fingers). Maybe I like classic rock because they are actually talented artists who have created their own sound instead of this manuafactured and mass produced bull---- that you can see on the stores' shelves today. You don't need talent to make it today, you just need to be able to get a few angst-filled kids and there you go, you have a following which will lead to millions of records being sold by a band of nothing but a bunch of no talent hacks.

Talking people out of their music choices? You're a twit. Leave them be. If you don't like the music, whatever, but don't ---- with people's choices. Go ahead and try to have your "talk" with me. You'll be the one seeing things differently.

Then get off the internet, you're always going to run into people that hate rap. Can't take an opinion? Seriously, you don't belong here if that's the case.

Older rap wasn't that bad, but lately it's been horrible. It's everywhere. The one music channel that used to be pure rock was Fuse TV, and now I turn it on to watch the rock countdown and like metal the the slave and stuff, and there's f---ing rap on there, it pisses me off, if it wasn't on a rock channel I wouldn't get so annoyed. Underground rap may be good, I wouldn't know, mainstream ---- has made me too pissed off to listen to underground, since we all know that some of them are going to get famous and turn into every other mainstream rapper(yes i just stereotyped, live with it). [/b][/quote]
You just said all rap sucked. Thanks.

I have to disagree, it is computerized music, with some so called lyrics that someone else(in most cases) wrote. Lyrics that take no imagination at all to come up with.

I don't hate rap becaues it causes violence(where i live it does because wanna-be gangsters listen to certain artists and try to act tough by attempting to beat up people, its quite funny actually). I hate it because it requires no talent.

Please, don't waste your energy by trying to convince me that I'm wrong and that it requires talent, I'm very close-minded and rely on mostly only my own opinion, I neglect other people's opinions about things like this :)

I can stand anything but rap, and I can't stand most hip-hop or r&b either, most of it is talentless bull----.

This is all my own opinion, if you can't handle it and can't resist flaming or(yes there are some people that would do this) -rep'n, then get off the internet now. [/b][/quote]
Im not flaming your opinion, but rappers write there own lyrics. Can you prove they dont and show me one time when a rapper didnt? No.Lyrics yake time to write, take time to fit with a beat,so dont say it takes no effort and is mostly computerized because it is wrong.ALL genres require talent, its just ignorant how you place rap as "tallentless bull----" when it actually requires a good deal of talent.

Most of TODAY'S rock is bull----, but you better not be talking about ALL rock (including classic rock) because then I'd have to type a huge rant showing you just how much you're wrong.

    Lol...
stereotyping is what we do, we seek to label everything. with these labels there is a definition, people of one label, usually, dislike the other labeled stereotype. so we come up with stupid little ways to try to get them to change their stereotypical groups...

its inevitable... i say rap sucks, but really i enjoy it, and im the kind of person that listens to metal/hardcore punk [Screaming].
so whether or not this topic is out the window, its the way it is.. and the way weve made it to be..

    It's on now mother ----er..
    Lock and load!

    [Verse 1]
This is the point of no return I could never go back
Life without parol up state shackled and trapped
Living in the hole, lookin' at the world through a crack
But ---- that, I'd rather shoot it out and get clapped
I've gone too far, there ain't no coming back for me
Auschwitz gas chamber full of Zyklon-B
Just like the spanish exterminating Tanios
Raping the black and Indian women, creating Latinos
Mother ----ers made me out of self richeous hatered
And you got yourself a virus, stuck in the Matrix
A suicide bomer strapped and ready to blow
Lethal injection strapped down ready to go
Don't you understand they'll never let me live out in peace
Concreate jungle, guerilla war out in the streets
Nat Turner with the sickle pitch fork and machatte
The end of the world, mother ----er you not ready
This is the point of no return and nobody can stop it
Malcolm little running up before Elijah Muhammad
The commedent killed the dinosaurs, changing the earth
They love to criticize they always say I change for the worse
Like prescription pills when you miss using them nigga
The temple of nights when they took Jerusalem nigga
And figured out what was buried under Soloman's temple
Al Aksa the name is no coincidental
I know too much to government is trying to murder me
No coming back like cutting your writs open vertically
How could the serpant be purposely put in charge of the country
Genetic engineered sickness spread amongst me
My people are so hungry that they attack without reason
Like a ----in' dog ripping off the hand that feeds him
Immortal Technique is treason to the patriot act
So come and get me mother ----er cause I'm not coming back

    [Hook]
This is the point from which I could never return
And if I back down now then forever I burn
This is the point from which I could never retreat
Cause If I turn back now there can never be peace
This is the point from which I will die and succeed
Living the struggle, I know I'm alive when I bleed
From now on it can never be the same as before
Cause the place I'm from doesn't exist anymore

    [Verse 2]
This is the point of no return nigga you better believe this
Mary Magdalen giving birth to the children of Jesus
The evolution of the world, bloody and dramatic
Human beings killing monkeys to conquer the planet
The kingdoms of Africa and Mesopotamia
Machine gunnin' your body with depleated uranium
This is the age of micro chips and titanium
The dark side of the moon and contact with aliens
I started out like Australians, criminal minded
Broke into hell, tore it down, and built and city behind it
    South Paul, murderous, methadology nigga
Remember that I'm just a man don't follow me nigga
Cause once you past the point you can never go home
You've got to face the possibility of dying alone
So tell me mother ----er, how could you die for the throne?
When you don't even got the ----in' heart to die for your own
It rains acid, one day the earth will cry from a stone
And you'll be lookin' at the world livin' inside of a dome
Comperized humanity living inside of a clone
This is the place where the unknown is living and real
Worm went to planet X and the seventh seal
Universal truth is not measure in mass appeal
This is the last time that I kneel and pray to the sky
Cause almost everything that I was always ever told was a lie

Yea, I really enjoy listening to people like krs one and NWA (Even though in half of nwa's songs its all about slapping bitches and packing gats) I still enjoy listening to the lyrics, and I love the old school beats in like all the rap songs.
