Steam Question

    I've borrowed a copy of Half-life 1 from a friend, and he did not install it on steam. However, when I go to install it on steam, it says that the cdkey is already in use. What's wrong?

    Someone could have stolen the cd key

    Is it a burned copy, or a legally purchased copy? That may have something to do with it. Pirating is bad....
