    Rising wages? lower unemployment?

how the hell is that true when you're seeing plants being closed down everywhere and the poverty rate rising?

Well the speech in general is just stuff Bush has been repeating since the beginning of his presidency...stuff that he never really pulled through with...or the word terrorism...or how Iraq is connected to 9/11 etc. etc. The same old.

Yeah I like how a ton of businesses around me are shutting down...schools are shutting down...everything is shutting down! But the unemployment and poverty is going down. Where are these jobs that are being created? Canada?

Maybe you didn't notice but you seem to be one of these "internet people". The only round thing I'm ok with my president screwing is a fat chick, I am definetly not ok with my president screwing the world.

Here's a post I made a while ago, just thought I'd bring it here.

Oh didn't see this since I was posting. Bill Clinton never resigned, NIXON resigned. And according to most polls Clinton ranks very high in most Americans eyes. He lied about getting a bj out of embarressment, at least he didn't like about WMD's.

Why? It's pretty obvious that most of the people here don't like him.

Strong words from a man, who I doubt the war has affected at all. If it had, then I'm still not sorry I have family over there, and I'll be headed over there in two more years. It's our country, if you're not willing to fight for it, then leave. The no child left behind will take years to actually affect much. Any change in the school system will. It's such a huge system, and you can't just STOP a system and start a new one. It'll ruin everyone that is in the middle. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, and if you're still confused, I'm referring to the moron bit.
I most definitly know why I support him, but do I need to explain myself to someone who obviously only listens to the media? Hah, no thanks. You believe what you're told, I have my own opinion. Don't call me a moron, because I support someone, when it's obvious that if you compared yourself, and myself who would be considered the moron. Thanks for your time.

The reason I don't believe you about your brother and father, is because if they truly did pass in the war, you would want us to finish the job, and not let them die in vein.

Whether or not you respect him as a person, or his actions you should definitly respect his position, and show more respect then that, I cannot believe how disrespectful you are being to man you've never even met.

4N0NYM0U5, you need to chill man. just state your opinion and stop there. you don't need to keep going on about how bush is a "----ing idiot."

seriously, i'm trying to read this thread about what happened, and i've barely seen any posts that are actually on topic. everyone is so bias, which is fine..everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but don't keep restating the same sentence over and over.

thanks hockeygirl for the link..i skimmed through it, and it just seemed like Bush was saying what everyone politician says when they deliver a speech. unfortunately, words mean nothing. hopefully the democratic congress and the president can work together to get some meaningful things done.

p.s. illegal immigration needs to stop. haha
