Starting Over...

    I have a dell computer that I would like to basicaly start over with. I want to delete all files and possably re-instal windows. I have windows xp home edition. How do i do that ?

    all help would be appreciated!

    You'd have to reformat your pc.

    Or if you just want to start out with a fresh copy of windows, just reinstall the Operating system (Windows Xp: Home Edition)

    Make sure you have the cd and possibly the serial number.

    Thank you, but I've done this before on a windows computer and there was just a button you press in the start menu.

    Theres a button for reinstalling windows XP?
    I always just put the cd into my computer, then restart it, booting from the windows disk

    really??

    a button to reformat your comp?

    that'd be cool, but i cant see the practicality in such an option, unless you use it VERy often o_O
