Great to hear that Blizz finally got around to give the starcraft universe another go, but i would of really wanted to hear Diablo 3 instead. The video looks pretty neat, but it's going to take 3 to 4 years till SC2 to be out since that's the usual time it takes blizz to rack out a game. I hope they show more zerg stuff by the end of 07. ZERG FTW
It seems like the units, (reapers, immortals) and some abilities (zealot "go quicker" ability) copies a lot from C&C... and thats no surprise, seeing as the lead designer is an old C&C designer. Yea, Diablo 3 is a more complex and expensive project, because starcraft is more simple, but protoss is pwnt teh zerg is teh newbz lol
I played the first Starcraft a little bit when I was younger. It was fun, but it didn't last with me too long. Starcraft 2 looks cool though. I wish they would have done Diablo 3 in stead, but whatever! :censored:
After looking at the screenshots, some of the graphics look somewhat childish to me. Seeing the 3D siege tanks and whatnot almost makes them seem more like toys than weapons. I dunno. I'm still going to get this, but I'm just saying...
Haha, true dat. But seriously, they look all plasticky and stuff, not like some super destructive things. Although I guess thats how laser guns in movies and stuff look too.
Starcraft 2 is gonna be awsome... ^ as to answer RoidMonkey's question, it was really fun and good. Probly the god of strategy games.
Okay Thanks. Im thinkin about buying it. Would it work on a 3.06 pentium 4? With like 256 ram and a sucky video card?
nononoono SC+SC brood war is quite possibly one of the BEST RTS' i have ever played. Sure the graphics are outdated sprites but it is amazing.
