now, when you put your computer to stand-by, you can either "wake it up" by moving the mouse or pressing a key on the keyboard.

Is there somewhere in windows that I can set this to only Mouse or keyboard?

I have two versions of XP (different builds), and on this one, it only does it by keyboard. but my Dell (small file server), wakes up either by a mouse or keyboard...

can it be that this computer has a usb mouse, vs a ps/2 one on my Dell? just a bit weird...

Go to devide manager. Find your mouse/keyboard. Right click on them, go to properties. Power Management tab and its right there..
    enjoy
