Community is going downhill eh? Let's put some emphasis on that word, community. Community Now. Who makes up the vast, vast, vast majority of the community? M-e-m-b-e-r-s. We're not responsible for people you may dislike joining, or rule-breakers, I remember GR from 3 years back and honestly, the only difference is a slightly more expensive economy. The site has gone from strength to strength despite what a few of you might say, it's become more popular, gained members, gained a hell of a lot of new features and a brand new server. The day your staff you can deal with it the way you want to, we've got a responsibility on this site to keep it going. PS : Blade, Gac admitted the accounts were illegal. PPS : Bucaneer, I closed the topic because we took the suggestion on board, and it was only going downhill. Although you may not believe us, we do actually care about what the public think, by no means are we going to implement every suggestion (And Public Voting is still an absoulete no) but the small select voting team has been considered and WILL be looked into.

The vast majority of the earlier, good artists left simply because, it happens sometimes, you lose interest in a website. (Although MANY kept in contact with staff and members alike, Irrelevant for example). Secondly, many of the older, good talented artists still remain on the website. Honestly, people are going to always leave a website, it's not always going to be someones fault or for a specific reason but it happens, it's life, deal with it. PS : Buccaneer, I said, we're looking into it. Just because you can't ------ing see a huge topic saying "PLANS IN DEVELOPMENT" doesn't mean it isn't happening, you realise there is a staff forum...right?
oh yea btw, its true for those ppl who got themselfs in trouble by getting banned, but i'll take morv for example half forum is talking about him because he's fun too hang out with he's is just a big part of the community, and so were alot of members before him, but because they got just a little too far they got perm banned, and so the community dies and dies by banned member, if staff would be more flexibel with the bannings this topics would be here alot less imo and much others
Morv has continously, repeatedly pushed way past the boundaries of what is acceptable and what is not. We're not making exceptions for people who happen to be liked, it's not fair to the majority of the community. We're not particularly harsh on bans, heck, Morv should have been permamently banned months ago but he wasn't. PS : Buccaneer, it's mk. I know where your coming from, really, I was the same before I actually got the staff spot. Just got to accept that the large majority of work done goes on behind the scenes.
Look, Ravr if your just going to ignore my response and repeat yourself, I'm not continuing. Every single one left? Really? Let's see, Faith is still here, who was preety well known back in "Old GR". I'm still here, also well known back on "Old GR". Munz has just made an introduction topic, who was ALSO well known back on "Old GR". Fact is, they didn't all leave, and the ones that did most certainly didn't leave because of staff issues. They left because that's what happens, do you intend to be on GR for the rest of your life? No. People move on.
they all recently came back even faith returned not that long ago.. well maybe its going uphill again now xD but any like the whole UV crew left. but i understand they moved on as gr is more sig than lp and about the exeptions thing before, sure i see why but hey this is the internetz.. you could be more flexible with that over the whole forum, cuz staff is like internet is serious bussines.. it isnt, its too have fun, ppl are also here too express them selfs, but sometimes they cant because the rules stop them, there are enough rules outside the internetz, i'm just saying you wouldnt harm anyone if you would be more flexible with rules and just let someone off with an warning instead of a ban

How many warnings does someone need before they recieve a ban? Your missing the point, we ARE flexbile, Morv got away with murder for the most part. If there's no rules, everyone "Expressed themselves" then the whole forum descends into chaos, and ergo ruins the experience for multiple other people. How are we like..."Internet is serious business"? Have you ever been in IRC? The staff aren't overly serious to any extent, we do our job and keep the forum relatively unspammed for people who don't want to deal with it. And on the UV Crew. And? Soaked didn't leave because of staff, Moose didn't leave because of staff. The point is irrelevant.
