Well i've just got a computer that should be running awesome, but its not. I know i have some spyware/and a browser hijacker. I've tried Spybot S&D, and also the new Microsoft Spyware program, and can't seem to get rid of any of it. I've also got Norton Internet security/antivirus and Webroot Spysweeper(i paid for both).

Any other good quality programs i should try?

Also, I'd like someone to help me tweak my computer settings, graphical & so it'd run better. I have alot of crap that starts up too, that i have no need for.

If anyone can help, let me know & i'll add ya to my MSN IM.

just go to start>run and type msconfig. Far right tab is start-up. disable everything you dont want and restart. When you restart, check the "dontshow this again box" and you should start up faster.

As for spyware and such try hijackthis, will show you every thing that is running and then you can delete it, or Microsofts beta, works well.

I'm guessing it runs on windows, If so to stop all the stupp starting up, go to run and type "msconfig" (without quotation marks) then go to the startup tab, and clisk disable all, then re-check ccApp and cftmon which are norton antivirus (That's all you need to startup when you turn the computer on)

As for spyware and viruses, House call is good, and it's online, so no downloads http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Oops guys, i already had the problem fixed ;)

My computer is cleaned, besides the pop ups, and no their not from IE=P They pop up even with no IE windows opened.

I guess i'll download Hijackthis and see if that'll stop that problem.
