Splash Homepage Image

The Splash Homepage Image needs to change to something better so i propose one of the forum admins/mods/globol mods with lots of credits offer 100 creds to the person who make the next best Flash Homepage Iamge and make it a compition. If you agree rant with me. Here.

Yes the splash has been there for like eva but i think also it could do with a change.

 

Been suggested by me a million times in the past , i think its best not to worry about it too much , we have a GRBanner comp and a GRSkin comp going on at the moment .

I feel these competitions are needed to done one at a time now thinking about it .

We need an awesome unique never been seen or done before skin .

Once thats done we then need a banner to match the skin

Then if we are still keeping the main splash page , that also can be changed to suit skin and banner ......

They would end if someone would supply a decent skin or banner that the staff can agree on that they all like. So far the staff cannot decide on a skin, so there is no winner. Its the same with most companies, if they hire someone to do something, and that person does a design, but doesnt feel like working on it anymore, and the company doesn't like it, they don't pay you and they find someone else. The only way to end the competition is to put more templates in there that are high-class that most of the staff could agree on being a new skin for GR. Until then, the competitions will most likely be held open.

As for the splash banner, G72 is correct, this has been requested numerous times. I don't think the splash page will ever be redesigned unless a new skin is brought to GR, and it would be changed so that the colors and images would match that of the forum. Otherwise its a waste of time, and competition prizes to do so, especially seeing as how the banner and skin competitions are still running.

 

^^^Can say it any better then you. But like i said it could be 100 credits as the prize. And now that everyone is saying this stuff the homepage splash image does need to change. I'm sick of looking at crap for this homepage. Just make something better please. And mods/admins please make a comp about this after you finish the two about forum cahnge and banner change.

i dont think its that important. i doubt many people actually go to www.gamerenders.com

most people have it bookmarked to www.gamerenders.com/forum so i think the splash page really isnt that important.
