So, I went to the hospital for the 3rd time this week last night at 8:30. Got in fairly quick they did normal tests you'd expect. They drew some blood, of course as always it takes the nurse two stabs with the needle.. happened the other day too, they just never like the spot I tell them to put it in I guess. Then they say I need a spinal tap, now I never had one but they sound like hell and I thought I didn't need it but I got it like.. an hour later, took them forever. So the guy has me curled up there, sticks 2 needles in my back to numb it, cool... He goes in for the actual work and extreme pain, after a minute he comes out and uses 2 more numbing things. That still doesnt work.. but he goes at it on my back for 10-ish minutes. A looong time to be in pain. Ya know why the numbing wasn't working? Because he used a ------ing childrens needle on me so it was too small to numb me. So after that he finally sends another doctor in, he juiced me up real good... Mmm I love Morphine. But always make sure, if you get a spinal tap, get the correct numbing stuff. Spare yourself. And get a doctor who is experianced on patients like you, unlike my first doc. Oh and yes, I got menengitis. I'm done ranting, sorry lads... Anyone else have a ----ty spinal tap experiance or they numb u up good first?
Yes it sucked. And no, the downside to the forum change is all these bull---- posts "10,000 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall " or "Count to a Million" Damn stupid...
my dad had to have a spinal tap so he could have his hip replaced, but because his back was too muscley they could get the needle in, the doctor had 9 attempts my dad siad it was so painful. in the end they ended up put a blocker or osmethin on his leg
ive had worse... i broke my leg on a quad becuase i hit a rock lost control and het the back of a pick up truck... then waited an hour... then the fire department came pulled my leg apart and put it in traction... then went to one hospital to find they didnt have there specialist there so i had to drive 2 hours to a childrens hospital and i couldnt have morphene becuase they may have operated that day... then i had to wait and find out that that specialist wouldnt be in until 2marrow...so i spend over 24 hour with a broken leg straped to a board...sucked balls
