Game: Spider-Man 3 (The Movie) I was wondering who has the game. When I bought the game Spider-Man few years ago I enjoyed it. The inside-buildings where pretty nice designed. Also the extra's where great. Then Spider-Man 2 came out. It was even better than the previous Spider-Man game. So finally Spider-Man 3 came out recently. I bought it few hours ago and started playing, and I must say... the game isn't really that great in my opinion. Negative points: -The camera isn't really good when swinging. But not irritating. -The objective pointer; goddamn it sucks balls. Really one of the biggest irritations in this game. When you've got to go somewhere you have an objective pointer in your screen with how many meters you're away from your target. When you swing it constantly moves out of your screen resulting you not knowing where the hell you must go to. So sometimes you must stop swinging and move the camera to get the pointer back in your screen again. Really spiffy when you're in a hurry... -Grahpics could be way better when I look at the previous games. -Peter says too many repeative things. -There aren't many shadows in this game, only big buildings, Spidy's and other villians. So when you stand on something (like a platform) and you look at the ground, you can see your shadow standing on nothing but air. -There are no extra's. Like wtf. In Spider-Man 1 you could play as the Goblin and many other characters. You had different modes/stages where you could fight. But Spider-Man 3 has nothing. Only the game and no extra's whatsoever. I mean, I'd like to fight as Harry the Goblin just for once, or sandman or venom! -Not that it matter that much, but last time I checked the game is from the movie Spiderman 3. But when playing the game, I can't remember the Lizards came in the movie, that J. Jameson got kidnapped, that there were vampires etc. I know, I know; they needed more bad guys. But still, the Lizards shouldn't be there. Positive points: -It's fun swinging. -The black suit is pretty neat. -The game disc can be thrown out of the window pretty easily. Rating I would give: 6/10 I don't recommend this game to anyone, except die-hard Spiderman fans. But to other gamers: Stick with Spider-Man 2 or nothing at all. I spent €50 just to figure this out. I don't want you to make the same mistake. So, who has the game?
iv been playin this the last couple days and i got to say its worth more than 5/10 more like a 8/10. Its a great game and every boss battle is different and epic.
I gave it a 6/10, since I think 5 is idd too low, but I don't think it's worth an 8. The gameplay is pretty much a copy of Spider-Man 2. They haven't added much, only other bosses/missions and the black suit feature. You've got to admit that.
I heard it sucked. Apparently the boss battles are all the same (run around in circles, reverse, punch). But according to IGN.com, the swinging mechanic is great.
What version did you review? Last Gen version sucks major balls while next-gen is a mix of SM2 and Ultimate SM.
i played it in gamestation for about 10 minutes and if was fun for swinging around, but i wouldnt buy it. The map isnt that great and the camera was too annoying for me. 360 version is a hell of alot better than ps2 platform though.
exactly, no wonder you think its crap a bet the 360 version has well more things to do and better presented
I played the Spiderman 2 game, I had fun with that lol. I'm thinking about renting Spiderman 3 sometime see and see how it turns out, but for now I downloaded spiderman 3 game on my cell, and I have to say..it's pretty bad lol. it's like nitendo..but it's cell.
