    Hi,

I'm having a PC like 4 years old or something, and i noticed it's alot slower then it used to be, like starting up Photoshop, or loading a Game. I've done some virus scans etc. but it's still slow. Anyone got tips?

4 years is pretty old, computers tend to detoriate within a year of buying them. Could you post up some specs? If you have a low amount of RAM that could use upgrading. If you really don't want to get a new PC, just purchase a new Motherboard, CPU and RAM. Hopefully your computer should perform better with the newer technology. Things move fast these days :)

    Try downloading ccleaner

to get rid of any unwanted files, also purchase system mechanic 6, it deletes duplicated files cleans up your hd etc. very good proggy ;)

also visit TweakXP but remember to back up your system via system restore or summat ;)

If you have less than 512 ram, buy some more and make sure that you don't have too much stuff on your desktop. It's a lot better to make a shortcut on the desktop that accualy is located somewhere else.

defrag, use ccleaner, uninstall programs you don't need, get rid of any uneeded start up entries.
