Speed Racer Movie

I searched for a topic but found nothing, so yeah



What do you guys think about this movie coming out, I haven't seen any episodes of the show tbh. Only parody of stuff that have done it.

Speed Racer was such an awesome show, used to watch it every night. I might see the movie, but I feel like the show is going to be ruined. In my opinion, a cartoon just doesn't fit right when it's turned into a 3D movie, such as Garfield and Alvin and the Chipmunks, I feel like both of those movies just didn't seem right, and weren't that great. But yeah, might see the movie depending on what it looks like, I haven't had a good look at it yet.

 

i saw the trailer once. its friggin psychedelic!

 

I watched 1 minute of the first trailer and decided; "this is garbage."

It looks like it won't be anything like what I remember of the show, which is sad.


AT least its cheaper and slightly less damaging than going out and getting yourself some acid.

The trailer makes it look like ---- quite honestly.

They tried to be too futuristic with this one.

I watched some episodes of Speed Racer episodes, and the movie looks retarded. It's all Hollywood up, same goes with the Iron Man movie, I wanted to see it when they showed the first trailer in the Summer. But now I could careless

 

It looks shocking tbh..

 

looks great imo, great vibrant coloring and some really sweet looking effects makes a change for there to be a car movie instead of the fast and the furious.

 

This is also going to be one hell of a movie! I think it will cover my missing for Fast and the Furious in an Anime way though

This looks bad. Really bad. If you were to be walking by and saw the Speed Racer cartoon, you'd probably sit down and watch it. The movie is gonna be the opposite. Plus, the fact that you see the actor's head popping out from the CG car blur pisses me off. The Wachowshi Bros / Bro & Sis should have stopped after the original Matrix.

 

I wasn't much a fan of the cartoon and this movie just looks horrible. Very few (if any) movies that I'm less excited to see, not to mention the trailer could give a person seizures with all those colors and whatnot

 

if the whole movie was animated it may have had a shot
but as a fan of the cartoon i feel this movie blows
