Speed Firefox

For anyone that didnt have these.
Here are 2 things that can help to speed up your firefox even more ^_^

Turn on inline autocomplete in Firefox:
1. Enter about:config in the URL field
2. Right-click on the page and create a new Boolean value
3. Enter browser.urlbar.autoFill as the preference name (note, case-sensitive: 'F', not 'f')
4. Set the value to true

I think there was a topic about the first one. What is the patch thing about?

 

It Patches FireFox and makes it faster. I use it and FireFox still works and runs even faster.
I found it somewhere on the net about 2 months ago. Never saw it here, so i thought i should post it. ^_^

 

The first one is old, but the patch looks cool

 

I have tried the patch but cant really tell any difference. I have heard that every time you update firefox, that you need to do yout tweaks again. Not sure how true it is, just what I have heard.

 

Going to test the patch and see how 'fast' it is =D

 

I never had to re-do any tweaks yet. But maybe because i havent had to update from anything like 1.0.x to 1.1

 

Erm, haven't real noticed a difference. Maybe my pages are loading faster, not shure.

Erm, when we update our firefox like for a new version, do we have to re-tweak everything again..?

My firefox already runs pretty fast. I'll try these and see if it improves it much.
