Oblivion seems to be at the moment, although some believe that it is poorly coded and not optimized, just like Morrowind was(This comes from the fact that even some of the high end cards and processors can't get good fps).

    Also, what is your budget?

Usually building a computer with parts that you buy is cheaper. I do believe that Condemned: Criminal Origins might outweigh both Oblivion and F.E.A.R.

again budget/needs is everything. a 600$ system will suffice for medium playing, a 800$ system will get you either a 7900GT or an a X2 3800+, 100$ will get you both(which means very smooth playing with a little bit of futureproofing added, well atleast as close to future proof as you can get without breaking the bank or otherwise having insane hopes)

Well seeing that you're using the good old quid I'll give you a link to a British custom computer site: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ . Just play around with the choices you have and want to get an idea of pricing.

    Shuya:

We can give you links to American sites with parts that you should definally buy, then you go find sites that supply your country and buy it like that. With your high budget, you can definally buy a sweet comp

I would recommend you dont buy a dell, and I recommend you dont get viv if you must get a dell as its just marketing crap.

heres what you should get, look around shops for these parts -

    x2 3800+
    ASUS A8N-E Socket 939
2gb RAM (2x 1gb sticks) any ram will do
    7900GT
Antec tx1050b (thats a case with a good powersupply)
    250gb Seagate 7200.9 SATA HD

    that's my last choice,

    reasons why:
    1over priced
2 blazing fast pentium d, based off of obsolete technology - WITH the price premium
3 ---- GFX card by default little selection otherwise.
    4 dell "quality"

more or less take what defuzion said below, swap the proc for an opteron 165 if you're willing to try overclocking, though you'de want better ram if you do that.
