Speakers Not Working. :/

So, I recently downgraded from Vista to XP.
My speakers were working just fine in Vista, and now that I just come into XP, I am not getting any sounds.
Yes, they are inserted in the correct slot, and are turned on.

Please help, I can't live without speakers.

 

try to go to control panel >Add/Remove programs and look for your sound thing, it you can, you should just be able to press theremove button and then click on repair.

 

make sure you have the right drivers installed

 

xile: k, I went there, and I don't have anything sound related.

red alert: which would be the 'right drivers' ?

 

make sure you didnt install Vista Drivers instead of XP.
