Okay, first off great forum, but I just wanted to ask you something regarding spam. I've been in about five threads so far, and in everyone at least one dumbass decides to share their two cents (yes, I know me doing it is hypocritical) and just says "OMG! Teh Game suXX0rs!, Don't PlaZs is again!" and that no one either edited out or just deleted the post (although I have no idea if a post is deleted or not) so I wanted to know, what is your stance on the spam? Now, I am aware that you have hundreds of members, but I was just curious
Yeah there tend to be a lot of spammers, usually because of the fact that you get a credit per post, or people just aim their goal to have a really high post count. Not going to shout out any names....*cough*ZoLa*cough* Thats just one example...not trying to single you out Zola.
I don't see any reason to spam at all myself. I just like to get on this forum and express my opinion towards other sig makers, renderers, etc. If people have a problem with me spamming if I do I don't mind cause I know that I am not trying to spam. Then again there will be spammers on every single forum (most likely) that you go on. Eh one of those bad things that match up to compete with the good things.
Spamming, like in just about every forum, is not allowed. If you feel that a post is just spam then you can help by pressing the report button which is next to the quote button.
Heh...I remember earlier this year my post-per-day was at like 20 or something. I might have been one of those "spammers".
I think we need more moderators to cut down on the spam. I mean c'mon, what kind of life-less nerd is going sit infront of their computer all day and make spam post to get virtual currency called "credits". Seriously, it's sad that people make these uesless posts to earn something that isn't even real. They should chill out and just post normally. This is a forum, not a competition. You come here to post and ask for help or help others or get information. Not to spam and make everyone angry. I see people making 50-100 posts a day. That is outrageous. My post per day is like not even 10.0. I see people just posting spam for post count, credits, and the hell of it. I say just use the report function.
Well, here's the thing, when I joined this forum, I had no clue what the credits were used for (also you need to factor in that I came here only to be a member, not to go and buy stuff, and Nyc Elite, it isn't that much a problem if someone has 50-100 posts a day, but if there's literally only four or so places to actually post (like in this forum) I do agree that it can get out of hand
Just have fun... That is what this forum is here to do (and also to get help/ make sigs/ etc.). Hell I have fun on this forum and I think that it is one of the best.

Ya, but most of those posts from 50-100 per day posters make are spam. Also, don't flame the spammers, take to MSNM, AIM, YIM, PM, whatever you use. Or use the report button. Don't stoop to their level.
Yeah, sure... well, I already flamed about four people, so I'll just stop now, but I at least am happy to know that people aren't happy with it
Personally, i see a post that only has one word in it or hass nothing to do with the topic i just don't hesitate to delete it. If i see sum1 making loads and loads of threads then i just report them straight to llama and he ban's their usernames.
