maybe it would be an idea to have a protected forum where u don't gain credits or posts when you post in there (you have to give a code to go in) and then all the spam could be moved there or started there ...

I suggested this aswell.."kill the spam" unfortunatly alot of people were against it

 

well the problem is deciding whats spam and what isnt, and someone could be spamming, but not blatenly spamming, Yet someone could be spamming and it doesnt seem like they are. So its kinda a Thier story Your story situation

on most boards i go they have a spam section where they have those forum kinda games where u don't gain post count and just post for fun but just my opinion, i wasn;t whining abou tthe spam since i didn't see much but it would just be a place to talk and such like i seen on other boards, i never intended to make this a whine topic about spam guess you interpeted it in a different way it was suppose to

It's a good idea in theory. But as everyone already knows, members of this forum, new and old, have a tendency to post in the wrong places. So, the creation of a "spam only" section wouldn't accomplish much. Why would you spam in a no-credit section, when you could easily spam and get credits for it?

[That last statement was the mindset of a spammer.]

i actually think the best solution is that we have a separate forum for spam, where no posts or credits can be received.

But no not for SPAM. Not like the useless crap, i meant like a forum of spam games... get me?

Like its a spam forum and all, just that no one gets creds/posts from it, and it's a fun place because it's only forum games

if you wanna chitchat, use the General Discussion section.
if you wanna spam at GR you'll get warned, you'll be babysitted, suspended and ultimately banned


Evangelos, dont worry, not saying you are wining about spam.
i understand what you are saying : make a spam section so THATs where the spam will be and not spread like a cancer all over the other sections.
but as metioned by Bona F!de, the spammers goal is to accumulate postcount and credits. which would make the nopostcount-Spam section unattractive for spammers.

the idea is NO SPAM.
staff cant read all the posts, so if you see someone spamming,
use the REPORT button.

 

I dont see much spamming going around maybe I am blind, there is a report button for this kind of stuff.
