thanks ravr travmanx, im thinking we'll do things like script packs. for instance make a bunch of php scripts and release them as a pack maybe release some free templates for people to use.
I'll release my PHP Function pack for SourceView. So if anyone wants to donate a function script feel free
My idea for a a project: IPB coding lessons. I never tried to code an IPB forum yet. Maybe we could educate ourselves and other people by doing this. Let's commence with a design-tutorial and then hand the project to the coders, who create a tutorial every week. Maybe it would be nice to have a different person make the tutorial every week?
Nice skin, I always turn off anti-aliasing for the "non-image"-text myself, often looks better and gives a more realistic preview. Besides that I don't really like the buttons, they're a bit to simple and to small. (not talking about the navigation bar, that looks great). I hope you were looking for c&c ^
Hmmm, thanks for the idea. Didn't even think about that. I couldn't come up with anything good for the buttons. I originally went with some simple orange and white "web 2.0" style gradients, but i thought it looked stupid, so i ended up settling for the ones you see on there. I don't know about the IPB coding. I'm not sure exactly how feasible that would be. I think its a lot like basic HTML and CSS coding, you just need to know where everything goes @travmanx, thats a great idea, i would contribute, but im not sure exactly what to contribute
yea first a design tut on how to design a ipb skin and after that a how to code a ipb skin tut btw i've coded this one too: http://martijnderuiter.com/ doesnt work properly in IE yet though FF & opera works fine, i can do it in css but i was too lazy xD
