Sound Card Problmes

I have no idea what is wrong with it its not my speakers beacause I tried a head set and another set of speakers... is there anything I can check or run some sort of scan

 

What soundcard do you have? try to re-install the driver for your soundcard

 

Start Menu/Control Panel/Sounds and Devices/Audio.....to see if your default Sound is there? And you can troubleshoot there too everything you need to work on!@

 

i dotn know wat sound card i have and wen i got to audio in the control panel i cant change nething

 

Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware Tab> Hardware Device.

Once you click that click the tab Sound and ur sound card will be listed in there.

 

or you can go to Start>Run>type in "dxdiag"
itl give you everything you need to know about your computer.
also have you updated your drivers lately?

 

I think he is running off of a motherboard sound card and just needs to update.

 

This might sound basic but:

Go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment and then click Volume Control. Make sure nothing is muted and the sound is up high enough.

 

hmmm i foudn teh problem.... thers no soundcard installed i checked that dxdiag in the run program thing
