Has anyone else looked into this game as much as I have? If so.. You've gotta be massively excited about it. It's going to set the standard for fighting games, And is by-far going to be the best. It has every character that's been in a SC game (Except for the three specials, Link, Heiyachi, Spawn, oh.. And Necrid.) Than there are 3 new characters. PLUS.. They've decided to make it kind of like an RPG Fighting game. With the Create-A-Soul feature you can pick out of 10 Occupations, Each one has a different type of move set and how the character plays. Than there's also the "Chronicles Of The Sword" mode. Where you take your created character and roam around different cities, Sometimes pissing people off and fighting them. Or you can also befriend your favorite characters (Like Mitsurugi) all leading up to the final battle. They've also made changes to "Arcade Mode" instead of just fighting people over and over.. It has some storyline to it.. And each time you play the outcome will be different. This Soul Calibur is going to be the best Fighting Game to hit the shelves this summer. And it comes out on October 25th, Just a little over a month away. I can't wait.
Ive never really given soul calibur much notice until i saw shots and info about SC3, it looks very good, and much more....worthwhile, if you will, than its predecessors to play. October 25th you say? Looking forward to it.
The summer is gone. Autumn now my friend. And it prolly will be one of the top fighting games of 2005. Personally, I hope Link is in it again, I luved in him in the GC version, he fitted right in. Maybe this time they'll have Marth from Fire Emblem
They won't have any cameo characters. Like.. Characters from different games. But.. There are 3 new characters and all the original SC characters. So you'll have plenty of characters.
I can't wait for S3 to come out, I loved S2, it was the second best fighting game next to Mortal Combat Deception! I've read previews and stuff on GameInformers magazine, it looks really tight.
