Sotw Stays Down!

Well, I got a peak in the HL SotW, man, lots of people who were complaining, at least now I really understand why this happened

 

I have an idea... when someone complains... dont give them a 2nd chance, just ban them for a week or 2

that way they will learn their lesson

i think letting the people vote for a sig in a big poll is best then there will be no complaining about mods making bad choices imo that would work best

 

Members will look @ who made them. Not if the yare good.

Now that would be judging wrong.

 

I have currently entered 3 SOTW Contest and of thoes three I have not won. I do not complain and here is the reason why.

1. I do it because I love it.

2. I do it because I am learning to become a better artist.

3. I do it so I can comment on the other great work that has been entered in the contest.

4. I do it because it gives me a direction in which I can improve.

I could care less whether I win or loose, I just simply enjoy making signatures. I love seeing the work of other people when given the same guide-line in which to work.

If the MODS feel that a break is need to settle the issues at hand then so be it, they are the MODS. There is nothing that says any other individual can no longer make sig's.. just that the sigs they make wont be in a contest.

Any-who... The day will come when the STOW will again be in full effect. Untill then I will just keep doing what I have been doing.. MAKING SIG'S. I do not need a contest to prove myself to anyone else..... Again, I do it because I love doing it.

I don't think public voting for SOTW's would work because some ppl would create more then one account to vote or get their friends to vote for them

 

I don't think members should vote, because there are just too many people and it would all be hectic...

But i have seen problems in the judging, idk why, but it just seems there are a lot of winners/runner-ups who have bad sigs, or just general problems with them. I'm not insulting the judging moderators, and i do appreciate what they do for this site, and that their decisions are hard....

Maybe a selected group of people to judge? i know thats what the mods kinda are, but maybe just a different group of ppl that are respected to give good opinions... IDK

 

well it sucks that its down, I enjoy making an entry for it. Hopefully it will be back up soon

 

the one thing that can be done to fix it is get more ppl to judge it... i am willing to.. i even applied for moderator to help... or u can even just get a group of ppl

yes and with a strong judging staff they are really fun

 

i just want the sotw to be back
but i guess there is nothing we can do
is all up to Llamaman and the mods
its not fair though
