OMG. Why dont u keep it up and aplly the theory u just stated. "If you dont like it...dont enter! Simple as that.".

To me this seems like an excuse casue i saw some problems with the SOTW mos in the HL2 theread.

Honestly, we've been way too lax in recent days, and you guys have acquired the notion that you can do what you want without paying a penalty. This lawless, permissive society has no boundaries. And without boundaries...how do you know where the limits are?

Okay so I got that last line from GTA Vice City. But the point is, we've let this get too far out of hand. It's about time we exercised some form of control around here.

And to the people saying we're dictators, this is not a dictatorship. If you think about it, this is the purest form of representative democracy. The people feel a certain way, and the government acts on it. If you guys don't like how the SOTW is run, we'll scrap it. ;)

i agree with you bratzer... people are complaining way too much about your judging and i think everyone has different opinions... i also believe that they can't handle losing the sotw's

Well, I fully understand what you mean. But the majority of the members here like SOTW, there are just those few ****ers that keep complaining. Can't you just let SOTW continue since most people like it, and give those complainging brats a warning level of 90% :)

just my point of view, I hope this gets settled out ;)

Don't worry, it will be back fairly soon.

One of the main reasons for this break is to get the attention of people people who consistantly complain at the results of every SOTW.

What people don't realise is that judging artwork is a matter of opinion. There is no "guaranteed" best sig - one person may like it while others may not. This is especially true when you've got over 100 sigs to judge. By allowing multiple people to vote however, we try to solve this problem as best as we can.

Finally, i'd just like to remind the "complainers" that making the SOTW list you get access to every week and annoncing the results aren't easy tasks, and when you see people complaining about why they think that the results were completely wrong, it can be very frustrating.

You know , everybody 's got a other taste of sigs . So be it.

Sometimes you have over 120 N3's , ofcourse some people will think that they have been overlooked .

But if they don't like it ... Don't enter it.

I have an idea how about all of the ones who whine when they get no mention would shut up and take it less seriously...
Thats the best solution for this in my opinion.
Oh and moderators i think u should start giving warnings to people who start whining in winner threads...
