Need to remove the faded out soldier on the right, and darken that area slightly. Maybe blur/sharpen a little more for some depth but I actually quite like it. One of the better entries.
V2 is a lot better, but you still need to darken the right hand and try to establish some form of light-source. Like said, needs depth.
