Personally I think G70 should be really harsh and enforce the rules to the ultimate degree. It's not hard to read them and it shows that you care about your entry.

... but that's just my warped sense of professionalism shining through...

I'd have to agree with you there Monarch. I think it's silly people sign up for a competition without reading the rules and guidelines too it, whether it be due to laziness or ignorance. And if they're really that lazy or ignorant, i don't see how they should be in the contest =/ The rules are rules to be followed, not ignored -_-;

I'm curious to see if VOdka will get DQ'd or not for not having his name on the sig. I wonder if alias' work?

I like Sealbaby's a lot but I think the overlay strip (that he removed from the one in his sig) should be behind the renders, not in front. Just me though. Some good entries.

 

Thanks for all the compliments people (frodro, di3go, Monarch) and i agree with ya about the bar, somehow i needed to put it behind, i just didn't think of that til after i entered (thanks to some suggestions from you guys). But, the rules say no adjusting, so what's done is done

To be honest, i didn't have high expectations for it (not much of a competitor when it comes to sigs) so i'll be overly pleased with a 4th or 5th place ^^ There's plenty of other sigs deserving of the win, with a lot of time put into them. Good luck to the voters, they got some hard ones to decide between.

 

I don't think I will(I hope) , as Pistolero had an entry In a previous sig and changed his name to Mr.Inzane. He didn't get DQ

 

Half you people didn't have your GR name on the front of the sig...so that will be called disqualified too :lol:

 

indeed some people have their name in small quote rather then prominently on the sig. not good.

if ya change yer name during the SOTW you wont get DQ.
if the sig carries the name you had like last year, then its DQ. i know its a pain if you didnt keep the psd (or whatever file you use).

voting is almost done.
got an idea for next SOTW theme, will set that up later.
hint : its a game & a movie... very recent, specially in europe.

 

then i guess i lose, but when do u announce the winner?
