For awhile now, things have flogged my mind: Model United Nations (I am a chair for a committee), PSATs, school, and sometimes I feel it drains me of all things. It's not so much stress, but this weird feeling like the repititive lifestyle as a student drains you of any fun in life. Sure, I have Tae Kwon Do/Hap Ki Do twice a week, but I can't seem to find the light on things anymore. Basically, I am asking this: have you ever felt that you need a change or maybe you should do something worthwhile to get things back on track with more vibe? I can't feel much vibe anymore in the things I do so I wanted to ask you guys what you do. Thanks
Hey I have MUN, my first year ^_^ Also try cross country, it is garunteed to drain you of all energy you have so you are ok with sitting on the couch and doing nothing.
I had that feeling, so I joined Rugby. It is something you cant be lazy in or you'll get a foot in the face :censored: that hurts ^_^
I do what makes me feel good. You will always come to points in life where you feel that you have come to a stand still and not sure which way to go. Follow your heart, and you will only grow stronger. If you happen to take the worng path, dont dispair, turn around and head the other way to see if it is better. you cant always knwo the best things to do or the riught things to say, but when you come across things that make you feel good, it brings things back you forgot about long ago.
My suggestion is, get a girlfriend. If you don't have one that is. A girlfriend makes your life better, as long as you love her, and she loves you back equally.
I played rugby for a bit. Everything hurts after awhile; I hate post-blocking. It's definitively nice to get guards up there and defend while you lay on the ground hugging the ball, but not so much fun if you take fly, and physically do it. I personally am involved in MUN as well, and am taking the PSAT in a month, and taking the SAT at the end of the year. I am also involved in competitive Orchestra, and Debate; I also find myself joining _____ sport so I am able to letter for said year. MUN sucks though, I recommend quitting it, even. Community services looks much, much nicer on a transcript than Model United Nations. And one of the most demanding items I find is Debate. I am forced to put in hours of work in block meetings, social philosophy, and much more to be competant. If it's not fun, quit. It's that simple. I personally live by the, 'if it's good for you, stay in it', rule.
Well, please, understand that I enjoy MUN since I am a very good researcher and its only my second year and I am a chair, so its paying off already. Secondly, I shot up 240 hours of community service already so MUN is a nice side-dish I`ll add to it. Besides, it helps me speak in public
Ha ha man, I know how ya feel. Personally Ive found myself in that posistion quite a few times in my life so I did. And every time I feel a bit happier and happier for awhile. Sometimes we need change to truly understand and enjoy life.
I was experienceing the exact same thing but then I found Poker and how nice I was at it. I devoted every waking moment to making myself better at the game and now I get my weekly income at my fathers Thursday Night games.
i like promotin... though my preomtin is pretty much useless till im 16 (im currently 15) ill jus get ppl up to speed of what im gonna do when im 16 and that is be an independant bussiness owner, you dont have to be smart to do that sh!t
