 I is teh noob! Wooo!

Lol. Right, anyway... I got C4D earlier on today and an hour ago I started on my first abstract render... I have saved it but I don't know how I can open it up in Photoshop to edit it, it saves as a C4D file and I don't believe Photoshop can open them. So... how do it open them in Photoshop?

^_^ Hehe... rightyo, question number two! When getting rid of the background on C4D's is there a quick method within the Cinema 4D software (I have studio bundle) that can erase the background for you? Or is there no background anyway. OR do you need to render it in Photoshop. (Noooooo!)

 I'll repeat again... I is teh noob... goodbye, thanks for any help you give... ;)

If you havn't got the first question yet, next to the render button that just renders it whilst it's on the screen theres another one, click that and it will start rendering in a new window, once it's done you can save it as jpg, psd, tiff whatever you want. But before you do it make sure you choose the size, quality etc that you want in the render settings section.

And saving as TARGA deletes the backround automaticly, in other (as in my knowledge) filetypes you have to go to photoshop and check the channels tab and there ctrl + click the alpha channel and ctrl + shift + i and hit delete. then you can save it as transparent Png or whatever you want

Uhh, no. You check Alpha Channel in the Output box. Any file format that supports transparency will have a transparent bg.
