    (13 diamonds) x (12 diamonds left) x (11 diamonds left) x (39 non-diamonds) x (38 non-diamonds)

    13 x 12 x 11 x 39 x 38 = 2,543,112

    i think. i havent done this since last year.

    52/4 = 13
    13C3=286
    39C2=741
    286 X 741 = 211926

    211926

    It's not probability. I forgot what it's called

    but isnt that if order matters?

    No. It is not if order matters. It basically means that out of the 13 diamonds, how many different ocmbinations of 3 different cards are there, and out of the other 39 cards, how many possible combinations of 2 different cards are there. Then I multiply them and get the answer, since every combination of the 2 different cards can be paired up with any different combinations of 3 different diamond cards. It is impractical to guess the answer. The only way to do this is by mathematical theories.
