I havent logged on in about 3 years. Kinda stopped playing around with Photoshop but now im taking a class in school so im getting into it again. Site still looks good with lots of people.
Ummm nothing has really changed (don't be fooled by my high member number, this is just a newer account). New head admin and pretty much none of the old mods are still mods. Uhhh people sell tutorials and credits now..... can't really think of any other big changes.
yeah...nothing pretty much changed since I've been here ['04] except the site owner...that about the only 'big' thing that I can think of
So you're all saying that over the span of 3 years, GR hasn't changed? I'm pretty sure this new skin is different, I think there's more activity now and a lot more talented people on. The Main site splash has changed and there have been a lot of new Moderators and Admins who seem to be doing their Jobs.
Yea first thing i noticed was the site skin. I was trying to access the site in school to get some renders and tuts for my project in class but school district has it listed under games and banned... I tried looking at some other sites and none are as good as this.
seriously disagree with that comment - Unfortunately GR has been going downhill since the upgrade at the end of 05 - Those were the times where there use to be like 700-900 odd members on everyday and the community was like a awesome place to be everyone 'cared' about each other now GR barely manages that & members just think about themselves really ... even though the highest member count was in June 07 Changes are good anyways but i think what contribued to this is that there are waaaaayyy too many forums being made so everyone is just moving ... coming here solely just for the renders and selling stuff Second part .. hm dont want to turn this into a arguing thread but i dont understand 'talented' people - If you are talking about slapping a 2seconds Cinema4D Effect Render into a GFX piece then i dont call that talent Talent is something that few special users have in order to do something & NOT COPYING what the majority do - Truthfully i hardly see any talented people here .. if someone can name say 100 people out of 80K members who are talented then fine anyways *stop rant* Anyways welcome back oldschool member most oldschool members left - Only a few remain .. however new sexy black skin staff changes, new sections etc for the better
I've been popping in and out recently. I stopped graphics for the most part, but I still like the community.... and by community I mean the people who I talk to in IRC, and most of the mods/admins . But yeah... <3 Dark <3
