my moron of a sister installed the new msn earlier, and now its ------ing everything up. my pc keeps reverting to 8bit mode, my display name keeps getting changed to some ------ing squinty eye language pish. keeps crashing my pc if i try to even have a convo... oh and finally it keeps randomly opening the main window periodically. how the ------ do i fix this ----.
Sounds like you've downloaded a trojaned version or something else along with it Hijackthis log please to try and fix the 8bit wierd ---- and http://windowslivehelp.com/community/42.aspx Post there to try and recover your contacts, best change your password too.
Download http://www.avast.com or http://free.avg.com/ and run the Free Versions to see if you have any Virus or Trojan on your Comp. Suggest even running HijackThis and post up the log here so we can review it. Also if you want more Malware then download and run MalwareBytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and see what that comes up with. Oh and your sister should've downloaded from this http://download.live.com/messenger/?mkt=en-us
If it was a legit download then there is no need to install more anti virus programs that also slow down your PC significantly. It's pretty simple what I would do: uninstall. Remove all files you can find, like the folder in "C:\Program Files", "C:\Program Files\Common Files", "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming" etc. Also remove obvious Windows Live registry keys in each "Software" folder. If you still experience any problems with your computer, run a recovery imo. After that slap your sister in her face for justice.
Why are you the God of Literacy or some ----? :huh: and NO I have not been reading your ----ty posts <3 The last part makes sense to get some justice, but I guess you don't really need those programs, try clearing out your computer with all the Messenger Files. If you cant find the uninstall link (as it should be in the Programs Menu or in the Programs Folder) Download Crap Cleaner and use that to remove this thing ...
ive used CCleaner for years, and yeah i solved the problem i just deleted MSN. I never use it anymore anyway.
