Dem, bottom line is, Maj was unbanned and on a tight rope. He doesn't have the same rights as any other members have on here because of what he did when he was banned the first time. He was banned for a reason before and we (including you Dem) were kind enough to let him back in, knowing he was on a leash. So when he decided to post a stupid ass pic and talk shit in the chat, why shouldn't he have been banned. Any other member would have been banned if they were on a tight leash too.

Thats fine, but with 6 months worth of being back with no truly poor behavior (maybe one, I can't be arsed to look at the warn log, but I think he was warned on the site for his 'abortion' comment in IRC a bit back), thats 2 warning removals. I think that alone warrants more than our 1 strike rule which I (not the I in there) put into place to prevent this kind of thing. I truly feel that his ban was unwarranted from the site. The IRC yes. Was majin wrong? Yes. Does what he did on the IRC permit a site ban for something so minor? No. I know for a fact had he posted that image in the IRC (which, he didn't even post the picture in the IRC, just the flame forum, Tnuckvirp is the one who posted the image in the IRC, and the conversation Kirbir had to pull for an 'as an example' type thing is from over a month ago, and he hasn't done anything to that magnitude since) for any other female member without some large deal being made of it by the rest of the IRC, most people, including most of the staff, would be joking with him. He may have said some negative things, sure, that's maj. NOTHING was wrong as for what he did on the site. He posted the picture in THE LAST WORD flame forum, where I forced it into creation so that people could do shit like that. Cuss, racism, hatred, expressing true emotions WITHOUT the ability to be held to a punishable offense. Not only was he banned on the site for something he said in the flame forum, his thread was deleted by the moderating staff, and false accusations have been thrown about him. Frankly, every staff member knows where I am coming from, and I am sure thats a majority of their reasoning in not replying. Maybe its because I have known Majin, as well as many others have, for years. I know personally how hard it is for him to control the things he says, and hes been more mature the last few months than anytime in the past. I like to give judgment based on the individual, and their individualistic tendencies, and frankly, I think Maj deserves more than 1 chance, especially considering 6 months worth of good behavior.
I'll say this, a lot of people, myself included DO have restraint problems. it's a matter of wanting attention. like personally when it comes to real world experiences, fi I'm in a small group I'm pretty damned chill, but the moment I"m in a large group I NEED TO BECOME THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. it's just an aspect of some people and some people have it worse than others.
I know I said I wouldn't post again, but I just wanted to say that I think thats crap tbh.. its basically saying that he has e-tourettes, and cant control what he types, and when he presses the send button.. People took offense to what he said, therefore it became a problem whether you agree that it was offensive or not. It may well have been all in humor and all jokes, but the fact of the matter still stands that it was offensive to some people, and insulting. Therefore instead of trying to say that he can't control what he says, and making out that people shouldn't be offended by it simply because you weren't, perhaps you should enforce your moderators decision and back them up with what they have decided. I'm sure that you have probably made decisions that other mods/admin have disagreed with, but have backed you up because you made that decision as an admin. Surely moderators and admin should stick together on subjects like this.. Try to at least see things from my perspective before flaming me again.
