    You're idiots.

    They just turned the machine on to see if it was working properly. They haven't collided particles yet..

    And on the topic of black holes, black holes close up after a certain amount of time. They think the LHC may create micro black holes, and that doesn't even make sense since the LHC is suppose to recreate some of the things that happened during or after the big bang. So even if micro black holes are created, they won't last long enough to swallow the earth.

    Not only that but there is no proof at all that black holes exist.

    Oh, we are just talking about the LHC.

    Black holes do exist. The galaxy we are in now (The Milkyway) contains a black hole at the center of it.

    It is widely thought by physicists that there is a black hole at the center of every galaxy. I watched some special recently on the science special about them actually and how some scientists now believe that matter actually exists in a black hole. It said some other stuff too, I just can't remember what. xD

    Science = fail.

    No big bang and who cares if there is blackholes or not? Isn't a big deal.

    do you think every country on the world would let them do this if they knew it was dangerous ?? i think not
    they would never take the chance of destroying the world for some stupid science project
