one without the text is better ; and with text, try and stay away from the bevel and emboss + stroke.. gradients can work if it fits the color scheme, but usually, settings to make the text more bold and to stand out more should be avoided.. unless you can do a really nice looking text with great settings. Maybe look at some text tuorials for effects that you can do!

 

Looks very nice man. I always like when black and purple go together. Just look pimpin.

 

Its pretty good, you're getting better from what I've seen.
The render is a bit dark though
I say V1.

 

okay the text is relly bad maybe try a different font and defo a different colourwould help, also the placement is all wrong aswell.The sig is well dark u need to lighten up,also add few effectsmaybe so it would look lot better.

I think you should try to re-position the text, and change the font. Other than that it looks good so I can't really say which looks better
