I am applying for one of the Moderator positions, as I feel it is a job that I am qualified for. I'll keep this application very concise and neat - as I know there must be plenty to read!

There are many reasons why I would like to be a moderator at Gamerenders:

    1. I spend a lot of my time on this site, as well as communicate with many members. (I usually access this site 3-4 times a day, unless there are personal issues to attend to, which have not happened recently, and hopefully will not happen in the future.)
    2. I have had quite a bit of moderating experience. (Details posted below.)
    3. I have joined many GFX forums (such as Pixelated-Paradise, deviantART, Megadeus, iGO, as well as some other small GFX forums that a couple of friends have suggested to me.)
    4. I hold unique characteristics that make me special from other members. From the staff that do know me, I am mature, intelligent, reasonable, and not temperamental - in short, I'm a great guy to be around and I possess many traits which I feel will help me successfully handle this job.
One of the most important traits I feel that I posses is that I tend to work well when I am put under pressure - I have had many jobs in the past, and for each of those jobs, I have always make it a point to work to the best of my ability. (Which is always important to ensure the staff are working to their potential by pulling their own weight.)
    5. I contribute to many of the suggestions on the site. I feel that instead of members ranting on how they do not like the rules, or how they do not like a particular aspect of a forum, they should devote their time on thinking of alternate solutions to the problems that they continue to talk about. In many major topics of criticism to the rules, I raise alternate solutions to problems that arise to best suit the needs of the common good of the forum, and raise questions to ensure that new suggestions have a solid foundation to avoid "bugs" in the future.
Furthermore, I have helped many members on this site with problems on the forum, especially in the 'Forums Problems/Suggestions' section. I feel by becoming a Moderator, it will increase my horizon, allow me to help other members more efficiently, help me gain more experience in moderating forums, and educate myself to the new experiences I will encounter by working in a community that I love to be a part of.
    6. I would like to dedicate time and effort to a community that I love by helping members with site issues/problems, as well as bringing forward new suggestions to better the site. I feel that I have been in Gamerenders long enough to know the rules of the forum and I feel it is now time for me to give back to the community that I have activetly participated in for almost 2 years.
    7. I would like to gain insight on why the staff do some of the things that they do, and with my unique ideas and personality, I feel I can contribute a different view to the staff team.
    8. I communicate effectively to all members; I use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation - which I feel is very important. (English is my first language.)

What I would like to improve at Gamerenders:
There are many things I would like to improve at Gamerenders. However I should note that I am not going to post comments such as, "I will try to help bring back the old GR", because I feel that it is a very broad statement. I have been around in Gamerenders for nearly 2 years, as stated above, so I know how things have changed, and I have an idea how GR has transformed to where it is right now.
I want to remove the negative aspects of the current community, such as the structure of Gamerenders. Many sites focus on getting members, getting the name of their site out, etc. However, I feel that Gamerenders needs to eliminate the "bad bugs" from the site - to create a community that is 'breathable' for a majority of the members.
How do I feel the staff should go about doing this? By ensuring that ALL rules are enforced as well as implementing rules based on the common good of the members of the site, not based on what a few members feel. The site should be set up so that it is a 'democracy', so that everybody brings forward their ideas/suggestions and rules are implemented based on the better whole of the community. I feel the site is being run very smoothly at the moment, hence there is not too much to improve - I just want to continue to re-enforce the rules that the staff have been doing, and if new problems arise, I would like to contribute my views on the topic and raise suggestions.
I like how reputation abuse has been removed from the Forums Problems/Suggestions section - I want that area to be a place where members can discuss their views about the site freely without having to worry about being -rep'd, criticized, etc.

    Past experiences with moderating forums:
    1) I have had experience in moderating a GFX site called Pixelated-Paradise. I have an administrator position on that site, where I helped Darkstar, as well as many other staff members, attract members, create rules, and enforce the rules that were created. I brought forward many suggestions, as well as helped new members to the site. I staffed at this site for aprox. 3-4 months last summer, until it got shut down. This would be the forum that I gained the most experience from, that is GFX related. I was very active, in view of the fact that I was able to spend 2-3 hours each and every day on that site during the summer.
    2) Roughly about 2 years ago, I had experience in moderating an online gaming forum in regards to a game called 'Subspace' at a zone called "SSCI." I actively participated in that forum for a year as a Global Moderator, and I later got promoted to Administrator. (Where I staffed for another 4 months.) Due to family problems that suddenly arised at the time, I resigned. It should be noted that I staffed not only on the forum, but for the actual online game as well. The forum shut down aprox. 2-3 months ago, the URL used to be: www.ssdbz.com. This site helped me gain the foundation on how to talk to members as well as learn new commands/functions - now I am able to grasp new concepts a lot easier when it comes to forum management.

Amount of time (on average) I would be able to moderator the forum per week:
I actively participate on Gamerenders, and I would be able to moderate the forum roughly 7 hours per week, based on the amount of real-life situations I need to attend to. I tend to be very honest, so I won't shout out big numbers that I will not meet up to in the future. I feel 7 hours is adequate to carry out a moderator position in GR, as long as the time is used efficiently.
I should note that during exam time (Happens twice every year), I will not be able to attend to Gamerenders for 2 weeks. I take my school work very seriously - I hope each and every one of you can empathize with me on that.

    Any skills:
I could sit here and tell you all these fake reasons why I am more special then everybody else at this site applying. Well the truth is, I am not more special than everybody else. I am not a ----- at GFX, I cannot cut the best renders, I do not always make the best decisions, and I don't post the most on this forum - I have flaws, but that is the only part of being human.
I only post when I feel it is necessary, and I make decisions based on what I feel is rational at the time. I can only assure you that I will contribute all my effort to the forum, as I tend to be very sincere when a job is given to me. I am a veteran at this forum who enjoys visiting this forum very much, and I would like to contribute to make this site a better place by offering my unique personality and suggestions.

Overall, look forward from hearing a response from the staff, as I look forward to gaining the position so that the staff who do not know me can develop a better understanding of who I am, and what I am capable of.

    Thanks for your time,
I look forward to working with the team!
